As part of a DDLETB Erasmus+ project,  Sallynoggin College of Further Education had the pleasure of hosting two teachers from Norway who were very interested in our Early Childhood Education & Care course. Anamaret and Tonje from Kristen Videregande School in Trondheim thoroughly enjoyed meeting and chatting with our students. The students found this an invaluable experience while learning lots of interesting things about Childcare in Norway.

Thursday 15th November Dinner and Cultural Activity - Irish Dancing. It's fun to get together and have something good to eat at least once a day. That's what human life is all about - enjoying things. Julia Child As always the sharing and Networking and getting to know each other is easier over some nice food. Visit to BFEI and Lexicon Library Wednesday 15th November - Afternoon

The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.  After saying our goodbyes to the lovely staff at Greenhills, I drove Kirsty, Kyrsty and Maria over to Blackrock to my own college. There we were joined by the other Norwegians,   Tonje,  Analina and  Heidi. Presentation and final plenary session - 16th November Afternoon

brainyquote.com We returned to the HQ for a final discussion and wrap up. The Norwegian delegation expressed their pleasure at their experience and made some lovely presentations to some of the Irish hosts. There was general feedback on the overall success of the event.  At this point the thoughts began to turn to the return trip by the Irish participants to Norway.
