Presentation and final plenary session - 16th November Afternoon

We returned to the HQ for a final discussion and wrap up.

The Norwegian delegation expressed their pleasure at their experience and made some lovely presentations to some of the Irish hosts.

There was general feedback on the overall success of the event.

At this point the thoughts began to turn to the return trip by the Irish participants to Norway.

We began to learn some Norwegian phrases :-)

Gud dog - good day
Tus en Tuc  - thank you

Higgily or vaera hairr   - Lovely to meet you
Higgly or ble inver tert   - Lovely to meet you

There was a suggestion for presentation to the Norwegian pupils. Some ideas include

  • perspectives on Norway/ Irish education.

  • Organise some small skills demo in English.  Ideas for integrating ideas into Norwegian curriculum or something that would be useful to know eg an explanation on effective hand washing in English Language. Or perhaps a customer service topic
The final event was to present certificates of completion to all the participants.
